Hi, I’m Trooper. Sometimes I can get a little overwhelmed with new spaces or new people. But once I’m comfortable, I’m such a happy guy! I’ll play fetch with you for as long as you’ll let me and enjoy all the walks you can provide! To adopt me, visit berkeleyhumane.org online or call 510-845-7735 to learn about the new, no-contact adoption process at the Berkeley-East Bay Humane Society (BEBHS).
Hello, I’m Tangey. Unsure of how to make your feline friends happy? Well, worry no more! I’m about 6 years old and a cat that knows what she wants out of life — a calm home with warm laps for me to sit on. Sometimes I want some face and neck scratches, and sometimes I don’t. I’ll let you know. Of course, I’ll need to learn about your home before I feel completely comfortable telling you all my heart’s desires. If you’re interested in adopting me, email your completed application from eastbayspca.org/how-to-adopt to firstname.lastname@example.org at the East Bay SPCA, Oakland (EBSPCA).
Sleek Tyler looks and acts nowhere near his 11 years. His shiny black coat and magnificent white whiskers radiate health. On the personality front, Tyler is very shy, so he might take refuge under the nearest bed, but eventually his desire to be petted will conquer his fear. Tyler has never lived with other animals or children, so it would be best if he’s the only pet, at least at first. Also, he was declawed by a former owner, so he needs to stay inside. To meet this fabulous guy, call Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter at 510-337-8565 or email email@example.com to make an appointment. See all of our adoptable animals at alamedaanimalshelter.org. Adoptions are by appointment only.
Rusty is sheltering in place, and he likes it! After five years living outside as a community cat, Rusty is enjoying a pampered indoor life. This affectionate boy talks, purrs, rubs on your legs, sits on your lap and wants to be the king of his castle. To meet him, contact Gemma at firstname.lastname@example.org. Visit communityconcernforcats.org online to see more of the adoptable cats and kittens with Community Concern for Cats (CC4C).

Choco is a 6-month-old boy cat that’s strikingly handsome with his chocolate color and white points. He will need an experienced and patient owner, as he is just learning what indoor life and getting lots of petting is like. A low-key home would be best to let this little guy adjust. For more information about this or any other adoptable pets with the Contra Costa SPCA (CCSPCA), call Pat at 925-323-0667.
